HOW I KNOW THAT ANYONE CAN PRODUCE TOUR SWING MECHANICS WITH JUST ONE CONSCIOUS THOUGHT AND ONE CONSCIOUS MOVE AND WHY YOU HAVE A HARD TIME BELIEVING IT

  Let me start by saying I believe it because I have seen it with my own two eyes over and over again.  I have seen the proof on swing analysis equipment.  I have seen them produced by 8-year old girls and 70 year old grandfathers.  So yes, I have PROOF.

  What makes me believe that YOU can do it too is that while your body may “look” different than theirs, you possess the same limbs and human brain that they do.

  Know this:  By the time someone is three years old, they have already developed a heightened sense of “propreoception.”  Propreoception is simply the unique, human ability to react correctly in an appropriate physical manner to specific visual and mental input.  It’s what allows an infant to first begin to grasp at your finger.  Very quickly, it develops and it’s what allows that infant to begin to crawl.  You don’t “teach” a baby to crawl.  The baby wants to “get somewhere” and figures out the best, easiest, and most efficient way to get from point A to Point B.  The baby’s eyes tell the baby’s brain: You are at point A.  Mommy and Daddy are at point B and that’s where the baby crawls to.

  Propreoception can be broken down to its simplest form as: HAND-EYE COORDINATION.  By the time you are 6 or 7 years old, you have that down pat.  You’ve already used it millions and millions of times to get the “results” you desire.

  In fact, you used it to get to this article.  You went through a whole lot of intricate steps to get to where you are right now and guess what?  You never “thought” about HOW you did ANY of those steps.  You had a “goal,” (to obtain this paper) and you did what was necessary to get it.  You took the necessary steps, but you didn’t think about HOW you were taking those steps.  At NO POINT did you stop to “think” about HOW to move your computer mouse.  Not a single one of you WATCHED how your hand moved the mouse.  Correct me if I’m wrong about you, but you were looking at the computer screen, your eyes told your brain where you wanted the “pointer arrow” to go and like magic, your hand moved the mouse right there.  You weren’t thinking about HOW you were going to move the mouse.  In fact, you never even THOUGHT about the mouse at all.  I am also 100% positive that not a single one of you SMASHED your hand down on your mouse, nor did you move it so fast and hard that you slung it off your desk and across the room.  You weren’t “thinking” about how firmly to grasp the mouse, nor were you “thinking” about how much to move it, yet each of you did it just right.  How?  Peopreoception and SUBCONSCIOUS body awareness.  THAT is how I know you can do this.

  So on to the reasons why you are skeptical about my contention.  I will tell you that if you’ve never taken a golf lesson, you might well be better off than someone who has.  The reason I say that is because you (as someone who has never taken a lesson) have not had your propreoception tampered with, or outright “beaten out of you” as it applies to the golf swing.

  Many golf teachers are fond of saying a struggling golfer has “paralysis by analysis.”  It’s a catchy phrase.  However, it is likely those same teachers who have paralyzed you!  They did that by filling your brain with unnecessary information.  Golf teachers do it, golf magazines do it and golf commentators on television do it.

  You are constantly bombarded with “parts of a whole” and that’s where that “paralysis” is rooted.  You have successfully managed to move about in your life a billion different ways without EVER thinking about HOW your body was moving in order to accomplish ANY of those billions of small or big “goals.”

  I say this in the e-book, but it bears mention here.  A golf club is a STICK!  Yes, it’s a fancy stick.  Yes, it’s a “technologically advanced” stick and yes, it’s an expensive stick, but it IS just a stick!  It has NO MOVING PARTS!  A golf club is a TOOL and a very SIMPLE tool at that.  Like any other tool, it is designed for a specific purpose.  A hammer is designed to drive in nails.  A saw is designed to cut things.  A shovel is designed to dig a hole.  A broom is designed to sweep.  A rake is designed to gather leaves, or debris.  A golf club is designed to propel a golf ball FORWARD.  “Up” is built into the golf club tool the same way “dig” is built into a shovel tool, or “cut” is built into a saw tool.

  So let me ask you a question:  When was the last time you were faced with the prospect of digging a hole and you stood there with a shovel in your hand wondering HOW you were going to use it?  When was the last time you needed to rake leaves and stood there wondering HOW in the world you were going to reach those leaves and then gather them into a pile?  Who among you has ever placed a saw blade to a tree limb and wondered HOW you needed to move the saw in order to cut the limb?  Not a SINGLE ONE OF YOU has EVER done ANY of that!  One more quick question:  How many of you can tie your shoes?  All of you, right?  How many of you THINK about how you’re doing that?  NONE OF YOU!  Two seconds of frenzied, UNCONSCIOUS movements and you’re done!  Tying your shoes actually requires a lot of very small, intricate movements, yet you do it over and over, every day and you never, EVER think about HOW you’re doing it.

  Now imagine for a second, if you have to think about and explain out loud each and every step of tying your shoe WHILE you were doing it.  Starting with how and to what degree you need to bend over to reach your foot and shoe and then each subsequent step thereafter.  Shoe tying would then become an ORDEAL! 

  Unfortunately, that’s much of what golf instruction is like.  Analyzing and breaking down EVERY SINGLE INTRICATE MOVEMENT REQUIRED TO TIE A SHOE!  What makes me and this different, is that I am handing you a "slip-on."  No one needs to tell you HOW far to bend over to reach your foot, or HOW to do that.  No one needs to tell you HOW to put your foot into the shoe, or HOW to do that.  But, you are constantly bombarded with that junk. 
 
You ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO DO!  If I TELL you HOW to do what you already KNOW to do, it’s going to make something “routine,” into something “complicated.”  I will have destroyed what would have otherwise been simple propreoception and hand-eye coordination for you. 

  Now, the fact is that in the case of golf clubs, you have 14 different tools.  All are the same “stick,” designed to do the same job (propel a golf ball forward) but they differ from each other in several ways.  One way is in the amount of “up” (loft) that’s built into each one and the other is in the length of each of those 14 tools.  That is why each of them requires the exact same “movements,” but those movements need to vary slightly because of the different lengths of the tools. 

  That’s where SWING PLANE becomes vitally important.  The swing plane of each club is slightly different because each is a different length.  I will tell you that YOU do NOT possess a “swing plane.”  Not one, OR two.  If you doubt me on that, check any anatomy text book and while you will find that you DO possess a myriad of bones, tissue and organs, you will not find your “swing plane” anywhere. 

  The swing plane is merely the “space in the air” in which the golf club is swung to its optimum effect and efficiency and each club has its OWN swing plane because of its length.  That’s a large part of the reason the golf swing COULD be difficult, is frankly gives you fits and is having you produce less than satisfactory results. 

  What I have discovered is a way for you to use what you ALREADY HAVE (propreoception, or hand-eye coordination) to solve the swing plane “problem” without needing to make any “conscious” adjustment.  Believe me, there IS adjustment needed, but I have eliminated you “thinking” about that, or having to consciously make the all too necessary adjustments for each club with ONE THOUGHT.

  You have likely never been told that there is adjustment needed for the swinging of each club because you’ve likely been given the false impression that YOU possess a swing plane.  That means, at best, you’ve been trying to strike your golf ball being 12 to 13 “swings” short of what’s necessary.  That’s the reason many of you have a “favorite” club: one that you swing better and trust more than the others.  That’s because BY CHANCE alone, IT is the club that possesses the individual swing plane you naturally feel comfortable swinging on.  In other words, it’s your favorite club for a very specific reason!  Likely the only one you swing entirely correctly!  You never knew this because NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD YOU!  Well, now you know.

  So it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to swing all your clubs the way they are DESIGNED to be swung if you don’t “adjust” for each one’s individual, BUILT IN swing plane.  Nor could you ever PLAY GOLF if you had to THINK about creating 14 different swings!  But, you’ll never play golf extremely well unless you take this FACT into account.

  However, I have discovered a very simple, concrete and easy way for you to AUTO-ADAPT to each club’s swing plane with ONE THOUGHT!  That ONE THOUGHT will trigger your body to do EXACTLY what each club REQUIRES you to do without having to think about HOW to do it, or HOW you ARE doing it.  That’s going to make ALL your golf clubs your “favorite club.”

  By the way, this is all just simple physics.  A whisk broom (about 12 inches long) is meant to do the EXACT SAME JOB as a much longer sweeper broom (about 48 to 55 inches long) but you move (manipulate) those two “tools” in a VERY DIFFERENT MANNER!  They are the “same” but VERY DIFFERENT in that they are different lengths.  They are both designed to do the exact same “job” (collect and gather dirt) but each requires you to make “physical” adjustments in the movements you make to use them.

  Of course, you can readily “see” the difference between THOSE two tools and you AUTO ADJUST to each one WITHOUT THINKING.  However, the differences in golf club lengths in very small.  Obvious between a driver and a sand wedge, but nearly imperceptible between a 5 and 6 iron, but that half inch is EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT!  If you don’t think so, hit the ground a half inch before your clubface meets the ball and see what happens!  That 5 iron that normally propels the ball 170 yards for you only sends it 130 yards!

  So, you can make those necessary adjustments with ONE THOUGHT.  Each swing will feel exactly the same to you, but you will “unconsciously” make the proper and necessary adjustment for each club with only ONE “conscious” thought.  The sad part of all this is that you’ve never been told that the adjustments are necessary, so how could you be expected TO know to make them at all, no less HOW to make them.  It’s necessary, but it’s now going to be easy and AUTOMATIC for you.

  As far as the ONE MOVE is concerned, that again,  is only ONE “CONSCIOUS” and specific MOVE for you to make in your downswing that will allow you to strike your ball with the maximum efficiency and power.  This ONE MOVE will “trigger” ALL the proper body responses needed to accomplish that task.  As I said on the website that you likely never read, use raking leaves as an example.

  There are ALL KINDS of body movements required in order for you to rake leaves.  There is  balance, bending, extension, flexion, wrist pronation and supination going on and you NEVER think about the fact that you’re doing all that and you’re certainly not thinking about HOW you’re doing it.  You have a specific idea (rake these stupid leaves) and your eyes tell your brain where the leaves are and your brain TRIGGERS your body to move in the proper way to accomplish the task. 

  Using a golf club is NO DIFFERENT!  Once you know what to do (in this case, ONE SPECIFIC MOVE) it will TRIGGER your body to react accordingly and in the proper way and sequence to accomplish the task of propelling your golf ball with maximum power and minimal effort.  It’s a different “task” than raking leaves, but requires no more “thinking” THAN raking leaves.

  You possess “body sense.”  It’s what allows you to walk without thinking about HOW you’re putting one foot in front of the other.  It’s what allows you to make ALL the many necessary and required body movements it takes to get you up off the couch and into the refrigerator to get a beer with only having ONE THOUGHT:  “I’m thirsty.”   All that is required for you to accomplish the ONE MOVE in the OT-OM golf swing is something you ALREADY POSSESS:  Body sense.  The ONE MOVE will and DOES “TRIGGER” the REST of your body to move in the correct way WITHOUT THOUGHT!  You do this ALL THE TIME!  ALL DAY-EVERY DAY!  Why do you think the golf swing is, or would be any different for you?  The answer to that lies both above and below.

  Golf instruction as it is currently being disseminated, CAUSES you THINK about what you do not NEED to think about and THAT STOPS YOU FROM DOING THOSE THINGS!  You can try this, but I STRONGLY CAUTION AGAINST IT!  If you do it anyway and drop dead, don’t blame me.  But I will tell you that if you FOCUS on your breathing and HOW you’re doing it, YOU WILL STOP BREATHING!  I will tell you that I have done this and it took me about 20 minutes to STOP thinking about it and it was pretty scary.  That is the very DEFINITION of “paralysis by analysis.”  It can literally KILL you and it’s what is currently KILLING your chances of successfully and correctly swinging a STICK! 

  Golf is NOT an easy game.  You are trying to propel a very small ball into 18 different 4 inch holes in the ground located somewhere within several hundred acres of land!

  Even if you do the VERY BEST THING you can do on a golf course: get a hole in one, it STILL counts one AGAINST you!  But, that’s really the charm and lure of the game.  You know going in that the golf course is always going to “win.”  You can never be “good enough” at golf to “defeat” it.  However, with a simple, “Tour-caliber golf swing,” you can have LOTS more success and fun trying to get as close as possible to defeating the golf course.  You CANNOT do that if you are trying to figure out HOW you’re going to do it instead of simply being able to DO WHAT you want to do.

  The OT-OM e-book is going to tell you EXACTLY what you NEED to know about the golf swing and ONLY what you need to know about the golf swing.  Tour-caliber golf swing “mechanics” are actually very simple.  In fact, they CAN and WILL be achieved by you with ONE THOUGHT and ONE MOVE.  You already possess the requisite “body sense” to achieve that.  That’s why I say on the website that you will be “smarter” than every golfer you play against and likely smarter than any golf teacher you ever meet.

  You’ll even be smarter than most (if not all) Tour Pros because you will know EXACTLY how to do what they do, but they don’t know HOW, EXACTLY they’re doing it.  When things go “south” for them in their swings, they’re not sure why.  That’s why they rush to the David Ledbetters and Butch Harmons of the world.  The truth is, if they knew what you will shortly know, there’d be no need for those guys.  The same way you won’t have any further need for me after you get this.  The difference is, I’m TELLING you you’ll no longer need me.  Oh, you may have a question, or two which I invite you to ask if you want, or need to (part of your purchase price and will be until I’m dead), but AFTER that, you won’t need ME, or anyone ELSE!

  After you decide to buy this, YOU could fix Phil Mickelson’s driver problems!  After you get this and read it, try to find the March issue of Golf Magazine.  In it are sequenced, still pictures of Phil’s driver swing.  It even compares it to Tiger’s swing.  What it DOESN’T do is tell you what’s WRONG with Phil’s swing.  What’s worse is that Phil is working “VERY HARD” with Butch Harmon to fix something that for me and shortly will be for you, is GLARINGLY APPARENT!  It took me all of TWO SECONDS to see the problem!  If Phil knew what you’re about to know, Butch would be out of a JOB!  In fact, in my humble opinion, he SHOULD BE!  So, I don’t know what Phil is paying Butch Harmon, but I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s more that THRITY SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY FIVE CENTS!  You check it out and see if you too don’t IMMEDIATELY see the problem.  So, that being the case, YOU could “fix” Phil IMMEDIATELY!  Because you would know EXACTLY HOW TO!  Alas, there’s no “getting rich” that way.

   So, the OT-OM golf swing is not a “theory.”  It’s not going to have you starting over from scratch.  You are likely VERY CLOSE to where you need to be.  The “results” you are currently getting may lead you to believe you are WAY OFF.  That is VERY likely NOT the case!  If you took the time to read the testimonials on the site, you read about VERY QUICK, VERY AMAZING improvement.  That couldn’t happen if I were having you “starting over” and rebuilding your entire golf swing.  There are things you definitely MUST know and know HOW to do, but once you know those things, results come at an extremely fast (and yes, hard to believe, even for those DOING it) pace.  If YOU doubt the testimonials, maybe it’s because even the people who sent them to me are “amazed.”   Many of them are in fact written with a dash of “I can’t believe this.”  That’s why you see the words “amazed,” or “amazing” used so often.  That’s the reason for all the exclamation points being used by the “authors” of those testimonials.

  That “amazement” and excitement is coming from a place of realizing that they DID, in fact have the ability to do this.  They just needed a clear, simple and concise way to ALLOW themselves to do it!  In my opinion, the best golf teacher simply gives you the knowledge to express the talent you already possess, yet hadn’t previously discovered that you possessed it.  You then become your OWN golf “coach.” 

  Perhaps even the more important aspect of the One Thought-One Move swing is that if you DON’T get the result you’re looking for on a particular swing, you’ll know WHY!  So, possibly more important than knowing exactly what TO do, is the ability to immediately recognize what you DIDN’T do.  It’s that knowledge that you will shortly possess that will keep you from running to a teacher (me, or anyone else) to try to figure out what’s “wrong.”  That’s what will make you a PLAYER instead of just someone who plays golf.

  All I’m asking of you is a chance to prove to you how good you can be.
