We all crave more distance. You want it, I want
it, golf club manufacturers try to sell clubs based on it and it's what everyone talks about.
First, some fact-based,
statistical "numbers" that you're not going to believe:
The PGA Tour leader in average driving
distance set that number at 306 yards. That, you CAN easily believe, right?
These, you WON'T:
The average driving distance on the PGA Tour is: Only 265 yards!
Of the most import and concern to you
is, that the FACT that the average driving distance of an amatuer, ZERO (scratch) handicap golfer, is: 235 yards! That,
my friends, IS correct!
So, while it CAN BE an advantage to drive the ball a long way, it's obviously NOT
the answer to lower scores!
We all want to hit the ball farther off the tee. You'll get no argument from
me on that. It's flashy and fun.
All that is fine, but we have to remember that FIRST AND FOREMOST, golf is a TARGET GAME!
Distance without direction is ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS!
Even in a Long Drive Competition (which is NOT golf)
the participants STILL have to land the ball within the "grid" for the shot to count.
If you cannot hit the ball
where you want it to go, distance means NOTHING! The woods are FULL of 280 yard drives! What you need, is BOTH!
What I hear a lot from golfers is "I can hit my 6-iron 170 yards sometimes, and other times only 145 yards."
Why is that?
The 170 yard shot is a "happy accident." The truth is, if you can hit your 6-iron
170 yards ONCE, you can do it EVERY TIME!
IF, that is, you have a "repeating swing." That simply
means that you strike the ball the exact same way EVERY TIME. That's what you WILL
have the ability to do with the ONE THOUGHT-ONE MOVE SWING!
Okay, so the
fact is, most non-professional golfers don't really know HOW far they hit the ball with their
clubs because it varies so much.
Since the clubs don't change, it's your swing that changes. It's
a BIG PROBLEM when you are unsure of what club to pull for a particular yardage.
With the ONE
THOUGHT-ONE MOVE SWING you are going to be SURE of which club to pull for a particular distance.
Since
your swing will be the same EVERY TIME, your distances will be consistant and you'll score
better, PERIOD.
So, yes, with this you WILL hit the ball farther than you ever
have before with ALL your clubs, because you will have a "perfect" golf swing.
Because you will possess
a perfect golf swing, that gives you the confidence and the ability to shift your focus on what's
REALLY important and that's your TARGET!
Most non-professional golfers
lack a firm understanding of "aiming" in golf. Not really their fault.
Of all the golf instructors
I've ever seen on television and golf articles I've read, it STILL amazes me that almost NO
ONE, EVER talks about aiming!
In fact, I cannot recall EVER seeing an instruction segment on aiming and
alignment! Since golf IS, in fact, a target game, you'd think aiming would be something EVERYONE would be talking
about. They don't.
Aiming in golf is extremely confusing, unnatural and vexing. Without a proper understanding
of aiming and alignment however, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to make a good, technically sound
golf swing. How come? What's ONE got to do with the other?
I'll tell you something right now that
I am 100% certain of. Half your brain ALWAYS knows what to do.
Nowhere have
I EVER seen such a chasm between the two halves of the human brain as I've seen in golfers!
If you are aligned improperly to
your target, HALF your brain ALWAYS KNOWS that. Unfortunately, it's the subconscious
half! Forget about being even MARGINALLY successful in golf if you don't understand aiming and alignment and the
fact of it is, most golfers DON'T understand it.
More often that not, you are aimed incorrectly. You can be WAY OFF! You're thinking,
"Oh no. I'd NEVER aim that badly." You can and you DO! Also,
not your fault.
In this information, you will get possibly the best grasp of golf "aiming" that you
will find ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET which will have BOTH halves of your brain in total agreement!
I'm not going to turn you
loose with your new, "perfect" golf swing without making sure you know how to make it pay off with more legitimate
eagle and birdie putts than you've ever had before.
You're going to hit more fairways, more greens and
have more chances to score well than ever before.
Yes, you WILL be hitting the ball farther. Yes, you WILL now know EXACTLY what distances you hit your clubs and you WILL
(by virtue of a complete understanding of "aiming") make GIANT strides in accuracy!
Golf is a target game.
Accuracy is PRIMARY. Distance is secondary. Now, you can have BOTH for less than
the price of a dozen "mid-grade" golf balls!
If you want to know the truth, this will pay for itself in NO TIME because you're
not going to be losing golf balls anymore.
It's not at all unusual for OT-OM golfers to play an entire round
with the same ball. That's what OWNING a "perfect" golf swing will do for YOU TOO!
